The natural asymmetry between the two lips may be accentuated.<\/p>\n<p>This hypertrophy, while it is difficult to talk about during consultation, could be the cause of low self-esteem and can cause discomfort when undressing in front of a partner. <br \/>This hypertrophy can cause difficulties for wearing clothing (tight jeans, thongs, and swimwear), limit certain sporting activities (horse riding, cycling \u2026) and cause discomfort or pain during intercourse.\n<\/p>\n<p>However, surgeons need to remain cautious regarding procedures to correct labia minora that are deemed to be too big, and if the surgeon believes that the patient\u2019s request is justified, part of the procedure can be covered by health insurance.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Guidelines for nymphoplasty reduction or labiaplasty<\/h3>\n<div>\n<p>The excess skin on the small lips is removed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>either by a simple resection with dissolvable sutures. The advantage of this technique is its simplicity ; there is no risk of delayed healinng.<\/li>\n<p>    <l>ior by V shaped plasty.
