Doctor Laveaux will then proceed to make a careful assessment and examination, after which he will present his treatment proposal detailing the procedure and any necessary follow-ups. <br \/>This initial conversation with the patient is the essential starting point in building a trusting relationship. Both parties, the surgeon, and the patient, must devote sufficient time to this exchange before deciding on a treatment. For cosmetic surgery a minimum period of 15 days between the first consultation and the date of intervention (legal time-delay) must be respected. Two pre-operative consultations are recommended, allowing the patient to better express their expectations, and the surgeon to explain as clearly as possible the potential solutions, highlighting both advantages and disadvantages.<\/p>\n<p>Before any cosmetic surgery or aesthetic medicine procedure, it is quite normal to feel apprehensive and to ask yourself further questions. Malgr\u00e9 mon \u00e2ge (59 ans) j\u2019ai subi une abdominoplastie le 7 janvier 2014.
