Aesthetic medicine encompasses a number of non-surgical techniques including Botulinum toxin injections, filler injections, laser treatments or peelings. These techniques are either an alternative to cosmetic surgery or a complement to surgical methods.

Your plastic surgeon, Dr. Christophe Laveaux, has mastered both surgical and non-surgical techniquess. This allows him to perform the treatments best suited to each of his patients. Aesthetic medicine methods, often considered less invasive compared to surgical methods, remain techniques that can lead to complications. A qualified physician must perform them.

Aesthetic medicine: treatments offered

Unlike plastic surgery, aesthetic medicine treatments take place in the practitioner’s consulting office (with exceptions). A local numbing of the skin is sometimes useful, and is achieved by applying a cream 1 to 2 hours before the treatment.
