Hyaluronic acid injections
A very dense hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin is deeply injected through several millimetre long incisions. The injected quantities depend on each case, but they must be high to get a visible result.
Unlike fat injections, hyaluronic acid treatments take place at the doctor’s office. This method is the easiest way to increase the volume of the buttocks.
Because of the absorbable nature of hyaluronic acid, the sessions must be repeated approximately every 24 months to maintain a stable result.
If the injections are not renewed, the buttocks go back to their original state without any side effects.
Macrolane® hyaluronic acid no longer exists despite being very popular in the past, and has been replaced with even more efficient hyaluronic acids (hyacorp®,…).
Increase in buttock volume by injection of 200 mL of hyaluronic acid per side.
Dermal fillers
Dermal fillers applied to the buttocks are an alternative to hyaluronic acid injections.
Polylactic acid is the product used in Dermal fillers or collagen stimulators (Lanluma®, Sculptra®, …).
Dermal fillers are a resorbable product that stimulate the natural production of collagen fibres within the body. This mesh of collagen fibres makes it possible to plump and tighten skin.
Cellulite and the “orange peel” appearance on the buttocks can also be improved.
2 to 3 applications, each spaced 5 to 8 weeks apart, are necessary to achieve the desired result.
The result is not immediate as the body takes time to gradually create new tissue giving an optimal result.
A single application, every 2 years, is needed to maintain the desired result.
Natural augmentation and firming of the buttocks by polylactic acid injections.
