Aesthetic medicine has many possibilities to rejuvenate the face and body.
Amongst these techniques, dermal fillers or collagen stimulators are some of the most effective and reliable since their existence and use date back several decades.
Once injected into the hypodermis, the collagen stimulators will gradually resorb. This resorption will lead to the production of natural collagen fibers in the form of a mesh which tones the overlying skin. This mesh of collagen fibers plumps the skin (volume gain), tightens it (lifting effect) and improves smoothness and luminosity, essentially by tightening the skin pores.
The main areas of the face that can be treated include the temples, cheekbones, cheeks and jowls. Certain areas of the body can also benefit from this type of treatment (belly, arms, buttocks, thighs,…).
The main trade names for collagen stimulators include: Ellansé®, Lanluma®, Radiesse® ou Sculptra®.
